Under the guidance of Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda, Head of Chinmaya Mission Worldwide, Central Chinmaya Mission Trust in Mumbai, India, is the apex body of all CM centers around the world.
As of August 2007, there are over 325 CM centers and satellites worldwide.
The ashram of 'Sandeepany Sadhanalaya,' situated on the outskirts of Mumbai, near Vihar Lake, on a seven-acre picturesque site, is the modern guru-kulam. The entrance is graced by the Lord Jagadishvara Temple, where hundreds of thousands come to worship Lord Shiva every year.
The ashram was established in 1961 primarily to serve as a training ground for future Chinmaya Mission acharyas. It is the first seminary where Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda conducted classes.
